2010 Cobra Tournament of Death
Well, it’s March and that can only mean three things: Green Beer, Brackets and watching people fight to the death for sport! Yep, it’s time for Cobra March Madness. It’s that time of year where old and young Cobras alike pull out their brackets and start placing their bets on who will be the “last man/woman standing”. See, Cobra Commander loves the NCAA’s and seeing how it would take a lot of time and resources to train 300 or so B.A.T.s to play basketball, he did the next best thing: Capture 65 “relatively” prominent figures, place them in a tournament where they are given a variety of weapons designed for hand-to-hand combat and let them go to town. Last guy standing wins…er, or something to that effect.
I can’t tell you how excited I am about this year’s match-ups! Especially the following:
- Warren Buffet vs Michael Bay – The Oracle of Omaha versus the Destroyer of Childhoods
- The G.I. Joe member Bazooka vs. A script for Transformers 3 – Which one will have more holes in it by the end of the day? Only the dumb will survive.
- Donald Trump vs Tele-Viper #4 – I seriously have no idea here, folks. Never seen either one with his helmet off.
- Dr. Sanjay Gupta vs Jon Bon Jovi – Good looks or not, The Doctor is saying JBJ is “livin’ on a prayer”!
Perhaps my favorite match up is between Gary Coleman & Tyler Perry. Colman is a scrapper but it all depends on if Perry is dressed in drag or not. Medea is one crazy $%&*@! (edited for mom)
And with that I propose a challenge to you, dear readers: Enter my 2010 Cobra Tournament of Death Bracket Challenge! Simply follow the rules below to play. The person who has the most wins in the tourney will win the Grand Prize – A Mystery Care Package From My Mom! Things she has been known to send me in the past include gift cards, shampoo, Cobra Island action figures & baby powder. I’ve got a feeling it could be a good one this time! If in the event of a tie, O’Shansky & the guys will draw straws for the winner.
